Unable to Jailbreak with jailbreakme issue! - GSM-Forum

Like many others, I have these symptoms below for my iPhone 4 v4.0.1.

Has anyone resolved it?

I backed up and then went to jailbreakme (have used the mirror too).

It goes through what seems to be an install and then Safari closes. I see no Cydia.

So back into Safari and I get the message from jailbreakme "Oops... it looks like the installer crashed last time you tried to jailbreak.

It might work if you try again"

Having tried again many times with the same result, I have done all the history/cookies/cache and reset the network settings and started all over again.

I have tried the 'airplane mode' thing although I have no idea what that was meant to achieve that the above doesn't.

I am back at the same point... Oops!

Any help appreciated!

For anyone with same problem, I just restored it and it worked first time!
