i jail break and unlock my phone
its 3.1.3 3G
but i dont have signal.
now i unlock with new software by same person and allis ok

Tried it on my work pc running windows 7 it kept on giving errors so never worked

tried it on my home pc running windows 7 (phone same condition) worked fine

Worked 100% for me, with an 4.0 downgraded to 3.1.3 modem version 5.13

actually it works on 3gs 3.1.3 but no signal after unlocking and i also experience the same problem when i unlock with ultrasn0w so i think there is something wrong with some of these iphones because out of 4 unlocking with ultrasn0w 3 of them works well 1 3g and 2 3gs this 1 is also a 3gs but i dont know what is happening with it why there is no signal after unlocking

Only follow this if your sure your cell is iphone 3G...upgrade straight via itunes or download IOS 4.0

restore with IOS 4.0
Open redsn0w 0.9.5 beta...follow instructions,install cydia...don't untick anything.
after jailbreak complete...open cydia...do a complete upgrade of cydia,
after device reboots...open cydia,sources,ultrasn0w...install..
reboot device

unlocked.

you need,

itunes 9.2
IOS 4.0
redsn0w beta

Hi Ppl... I hv successfully jailbroken my 3g with redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-5 (the latest release of redsnow) for OS 4.0 and base 05.13.04.but i cant unlock using the method given here.When i launch the app,a screen scrolls off.thats it.Also i cant find afc2add in Cydai (i have jailbroken using latest redsnow) ..any help, pls?

@ AftBad: If you can use Cydia, no need to add afc2add, just add source : "repo666.ultrasnow.com" and install ultrasnow 0.93, that will unlock your BB.
