Unlock Iphone 3gs /4g questions??

Hi all !

I have lot of questions I don't understand.

I have 2 Iphone 3gs. 1 on 3.1.3 v and 1 on 4.1.

Can I unlock this 2 models. I think it's not possible because the last version unlock possble it's 4.2.1.

I need to update my iphone but I can't update to 4.2.1 because there is now 4.3.1. If i have'nt save the shsh, it's not possible.

Can you confirme me.

About Iphone 4, what the last version unlockable and what baseband.

it depends on the baseband mate.
If you go on settings>general>about and scroll down ,check your baseband; if is 5.14.05 or 5.15 etc then it means your phone cannot be unlocked at the moment.

The only way to unlock it is through a baseband upgrade procedure but I will not advice you to do so as it does give nasty results and not worth the unlock.

Spirit and redsnow is for jailbreack not for unlock.......
Just look at your baseband, if 5.14 or 5.15 not possible to unlock.....if baseband early than 5.14/ 5.15 jailbreck it and unlock via ultrasnow!!!

3GS is unlockable if BB is below 5.14 if its 5.14 & above you need to update it to 6.15 w/c is not good because youll lose GPS.

About iPhone 4, only 01.59 is unlockable ATM.
