Guys do yourself a favour and keep the hell away especially if u r 3gs no way back no way to update 4.3 if true weeks/days away do a search look at the probs 4.2.1 is a buggy piece of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

updating to BB 6X is just stupid!!!! its ipad!!!!!!

There is no way to come back down from 06.15, and there’s no hiding the baseband version from Apple. You’ll be voiding your warranty in a very obvious way.
If some future baseband comes out with a critical fix, you won’t be able to update to it if it remains down in the 05.xx sequence (then again, you wouldn’t update to it if you wanted to keep your unlock anyway).
Starting with FW 4.2.1 if you have 06.15 on your iPhone you won’t ever be able to restore to stock firmware (it will fail). You’ll need to only restore to custom IPSWs (then again, if you’re unlocker you should already be doing that).

no one reads because no one cares, we all know about upgrading baseband. as long as the iphone that has been stuck in a drawer for months is now working who cares bout updating it in future. even if it crashes at some point we can always boot it back up with custom 4.1......however i agree with you with regards to 4.2.1 , its garbage. if you are on 4.1 no need to update to 4.2.1 for unlock, as 4.2.1 is tethered, and 4.1 is untethered....life is a risk, this is merely an iphone

yes, I personaly know very well, I care but, I still want to write 4.1 with custom 6.15
And will be posible to update to stock firm, not now but in the future.

I do no harm to you.

we read good beter then what you think brother..but more coustomers don't know any think about what we read hier of what is updates or...or...or what must be done when you get it in that situation..4.2.1..6.15
