I've used absinthe and now redsnow but not with dfu ,and in both ways I've notice this problem,any idea for this problem?

yes , same problem here on iPhone4s iOS 5.1.1 , even without using phone , without sim and with disabled wifi .

it's a firmware bug , tested on iPhone4/4s original ios without jailbreak .

that why i downgrade my ipod touch 4g from 5.1.1 to 5.0.1 with shsh blob..

maybe your battery as problem,mine takes 28hrs when fully charged

Totally agree with the battery drain, iPhone 4s 5.1.1
Before I upgraded, I was on 5.0.1 and the battery lasted much much longer.
Now it doesn't even last a day. Sometimes I have to charge twice daily, although I use internet only for a few hours, same usage prior to upgrading. Sincerely hope this new ios6 solves this issue.

Anyway, I thought I was the only 1 with this problem.

if u just leave it in standby it last good,but just if begin to browse any thing in it it will drain like rabbit.
