wifi problem - GSM-Forum

could some one please shed some light, i have iphone 3g 3.1.2 (7d11) modem firmware 05.11.07, i jailbroke it and unlocked it with blackrain, and now i have lost the wifi, its just not switching on, i have googled but i could not find anything, have i damaged something or is it just a bug, wot will fix it update the software? Thanks in advance.

It was working before , or when you make restore for it you lost the wifi , it is grey out

reset the network setting or re flash the iPhone if that doesnt help re heat the wifi/bluetooth module

first try to reset the network settings!!

if it does not work for you try to restore it with original 3.1.3 ipsw file!!!!!!

if still not working then it than you should try with hardware and just reheat that ic shown in the pictures!!!!

and if still not working than rebowl or change the wifi chip shown below as mentioned by ARTUSB!!!!!!!

thank you very much ppl, wot version of itunes i shud use to update to 3.1.3? and how do i flash iphone take it to shop, the last thing i want to do is open it up. i am a mot tester and a car mechanic but i this is very delicate.
