this is the untethered jailbreak, therefore if u restart ur iphone, u ll have to use blackra1n again to unlock

heres the procedure.

1. download custom ipsw from RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

2. use itunes to restore from this file 'SHIFT+Click' method
3. U ll get error 6
4. Use irecovery to get past the subsequent recovery mode
5. use blackra1n to jailbreak. I had to try it twice.
6. Install cydia, insert any sim
7. Use blacksn0w RC2 to unlock from cydia....

The only issue with this is that occasionally you get no service.
Even respringing doesnt work.
To fix you need another dose of blackra1n

iPhone 3gs;

This method works up to the error 6 and recovery mode.. Works fine

run blackra1n <--- Hangs

run it again <---- reboots now iphone hangs black screen

Nothing happens


I did the back up SHSH and used Umbrella to save the shsh to cydia and file

rewrote the host file in windows.. nothing...

I cant downgrade... or flash it to any modified custom firmware
only your file with out modem works fine...

I can't jail break this phone at all.. Tried every solution possible found on google...



I am so tired of the error 1600 and 1604...

Also tried evry combination DFU and Recovery mode

2 . active iphone with oreginal sim
3 . use spirit too add cydia and add source http//cydia.pushfix.info
now your iphone on off normale and firmware is 3.1.3 modem 05.11.07

Please help , I am trying to jailbreak my 3GS on 3.1.3..

I tried to restore it DFU mode no success
I tried Shift + file nothing
I cant downgrade
I backed up the shsh using Umbrella

Nothing works...

follow the method as mentioned

keep in mind, if u are on 3.1.3 and bb 5.12.07, this method will NOT work

its only applicable if u havent updated to stock 3.1.3 using itunes
