I want a Chinese phone that...

..has ALL of the following features:

  1. Quad-band GSM
  2. Dual-SIM standby
  3. WiFi
  4. QWERTY keyboard with working shift key to change to/from caps (none of this "change input method" via menu - garbage!)
  5. Battery compatible with some major manufacturer industry standard (for instance, the P-Mobile E71 Pro uses a Nokia BP-4L battery)
  6. Support for user installed [and UNinstallation] of Java apps like Opera browser (or, at least a preinstalled recent version)

Is there a Nokia or Blackberry clone out there that has ALL these features? Thanks for any suggestions!

Thanks for the link. I was hoping to get some feedback from anyone who actually knew these phones in detail, since web sites do not give details on features like these.

Replying to my own post. I think the phone I just received comes close:
it's the FY E72. It meets all the requirements except you cannot shift
between upper and lower case text input without going through a menu (you
can switch to numeric with one button).

But there seem to be some big firmware bugs:

1. With 2 SIM's installed, the Operator name for SIM2 is always wrong.
With a T-Mobile SIM in SIM1, and AT&T in SIM2, the home page does not say
AT&T as the operator name. In fact it's weird, the text is different:

SIM1 = "T-Mobile"
SIM2 = "T - Mobile"

(note extra spaces).

Even though the display for SIM2 is wrong, the phone actually IS on the
AT&T network!

If I remove SIM1 - then it says "AT&T"!!!

2. The status line on top of the screen always says there is a reminder
message for SIM2 - there isn't. No messages, missed calls, etc. Nothing.

3. With auto=update of time set ON, the phone ALWAYS says it has detected
a new time zone and asks if it should adjust. Thing is, ther setup menuy
has an entry that controls that, and I set it to OFF. But the phone asks
every time - twice (once for each SIM) every time you turn the phone on.
Annoying!

4. Network selection menu for SIM2 is missing "preferred networks" entry.

Any workarounds for these issues? Thanks!
