CECT N96 Rebooting Itself

Can anyone provide me with instruction on how to use MTK TOOL to format this phone to correct this issue

connect phone with cable select correct comport , select baudrate and poweron phone click format thats it.

Just use format to fix it...

  • HOW TO USE MTK-TOOL TO FORMAT
  1. PRESS OPTION BUTTON
  2. SET BAUD RATE (921600)
  3. SELECT COM PORT
  4. OPERATION METHOD (NOR)
  5. BASE BAND CHIP OPTION (CHECK BASEBAND CHIP ECO version)
  6. PRESS FORMAT BUTTON
  7. SELECT (MTK_AllInOne_DA file) IF ASK
  8. A WINDOW WILL OPEN SELECT MANUAL FORMAT FAT
  9. TICK ON VALIDATION OPTION
  10. PRESS OK
now press power button
then format process will start

am getting an error when i try to format this phone

"Fail to get target baseband chip H/W version!"


what must i do to correct this

maybe its tx, rx missing or incorrect problem, also battery power not enough.
