CECT V180 "Network searching"

I already posted my problem in another thread but unfortunately I couln't solve it.
As per subject, I have a CECT V180 Dual Sim phone and on switching on with the SIM inserted it keeps searching for network and after 10seconds it switches off.
I already had been told to format the phone and I agree but I am lost in doing the procedure.
I have downloaded the MTK Flash Tool although I do not know which type of flash it has.
I opened the phone but it looks like the flash is hidden under the shielding.I am not able to connect to the phone using the MTK Flash Tool or I suspect I am doing something wrong.
I am using the cable which was supplied with the phone itself.I cannot attach the pics of the phone and the setup as it is not letting me the server.
I can see 4 folders (multimedia...images,music etc) on my PC.This means the phone is connecting with the PC.
On startup of mobile when connected to PC it asks me for the type of USB connection and I am selecting the COM.
Any solutions or procedures of how to revive my mobile since I am from Malta and no support is available!!
I read several threads and I thank everyone who is helping us!!!
Good work guys

Thanks

for see cpu and flash chip, you need to remove metal cover carefully.

you need a special usb to com cable, not only usb cable which is supply with phone.

for usb to com cable, u can find any usb ringtone cable, as like moto c261, cut it front head (which is connected with phone) you found 3 wire. there 1 is tx, 1 is rx and another is gnd (see picture) and use it won driver for connect with pc.

after make cable, search for your phone tx,rx. after found, usb cable tx,rx solder with phone tx,rx than you can do any software operation with mtk tool.

must backup yur current flash file, before take any software operation.

User Manual For MTK Tool (download it)

I have opened again the phone and removed all of its shieldings.
I found the following:
MT6205BA
MT6305BN
MT6129N

Also I have like test points marked:

RX_B TX_A POWER_B POWER_A
TX_B RX_A GND VBAT

Does this mean that I have 2 flashes or what?
Also how can I upload jpg's for you to help me?

Thanks

MT6205BA = CPU
MT6305BN = Power IC
MT6129N = Network IC

and i think your phone is 2 cpu phone, another cpu name is MT6226BA, plz see in where is it on pcb.

also you not post flash chip name, so must have also some ic. see another side, as like under keypad, or under display.

TX_A and RX_A for 1st cpu
TX_B and RX_B for 2nd cpu

try and post result.

You are right....but to the idea of removing the LCD I was frightened.
Under the LCD there is the circuitry for the CPU 1.It comprises:

MT6226BA
MT6305BN
MT6129N
and I think the flash is SAMSUNG K5L2731CAM-D770 for CPU 1

and

K5A3281CTM for CPU 2

So now my phone is really undressed....hope it get well soon...

I tried to connect a cable myself. First I used 3 wires connected as follows:

TX_A-----USB White
RX_A-----USB Green
GND------USB Black

I swapped also the white wire with the green wire but also in vane.

Then I tried to connect through serial (COM Port)

TX_A------COM Pin 2
RX_A------COM Pin 3
GND-------COM Pin 5

I tried again to swap TX_A with RX_A but still cannot read from flash.

Any help?

are you see and read mtk tool user manual clearly? follow all of instruction step by step?

ok i write here details-

first connect cable tx,rx,gnd with phone tx-a,rx-a,gnd.

first do confirm which com port you use for flash-

(go my computer properties > device manager > Ports (COM & LPT) now see here which com port is connect for your cable)

open mtk tool > select comport (which one is see in device manager) > select baud rate (exm: 921600) > click read back tab > D.click on N/A (though not see it in readback window, first click "Add" button) > select location for where you want to save file, write name of file and press save button > next window come, here give size for flash file than press ok.

after done all of that press "readback" button on mtk tool than press and hold power button until progress start than release power button.

now progress running.

after readback finish, now you try for format.

best of luck
