Chinese Phone LCD replacement, help req'd - GSM-Forum

I have a chinese Orion CVDQ-M68 which needs a new LCD, can anyone suggest who might be able to replace this for me please? (preferably in Australia) or if not where I could buy a new LCD and find instructions to DIY? What would you expect this to cost?

The phone appears to be working 100% but can't unlock the LCD due to large crack at the 'slide' button.

Next time I won't put my phone in a safe place when a jealous tradie is nearby with a hammer in his hand!!

If anyone can offer help or suggestions it would be much appreciated.

bring your phone to the nearest mobile service center in your place sir....

Thanks...tried that but they don't repair chinese phones, hence my question here!

That's up to your search you could find any person or place for the cellphone repair in your area. Chinese sets have different LCDs with different pin configurations and needs experienced person to change them I daily change so many Chinese LCDs but some time couldn't get the appropriate LCD.

Thanks..do you know anyone in Australia who could do it? Postage to you would most likely cost heaps? Do you know how much to replace the LCD?

Wish I could be there in Australia and know only a few names of the cities of your country, your problem could be solved if you upload the picture of broken part along with the connections of the LCD.

Thanks....the LCD is still fitted to the phone. Haven't explored how to remove it yet.
