Dapeng T2000 Information

Who else owns a Dapeng T2000? I really love mine but I am frustrated by the lack of information about it on the internet. Perhaps this thread could become a place for fellow T2000 owners to post such information. Here are some things I've learned about it so far:

1. It is possible to sync the calendar and tasks to google calendar via goosync (goosync.com), but only a limited number of events is allowed. Anyone know a way to increase this?

2. The up/down/left/right keys on the keyboard can be set to launch various applications by selecting menu item (9) in the Phone Setup menu.

3. There is a menu called "Internet Applications" which can be reached by selecting item (5 Misc.) in the Engineer Mode (*#3646633# from the phone screen.) This menu lists a number of different Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones. Does anyone know what this setting does?

4. My phone's info is: E710_HJY2QW.01.0
Branch: 08B
Build Build_No
Build Time: 2009/10/23/14:03

5. Inside the phone there are four solder pads on the pcb next to the i/o connector with pads "1" and "4" marked as such. The word "hall" appears alongside. I soldered wires to these pads so I could check for signals with the battery installed. With the phone on, I measured steady voltages of 2.5 and 2.75 between pins 1-3 and 1-4 respectively. I thought perhaps this could be usb, but I was expecting 5v across 1-4 for that.

I have video streaming thru WIFI finally

I have video streaming thru WIFI finally. It was a problem with the routers firewall. I had to put my phones IP in the DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) on my router. Should be listed somewhere under firewall perhaps. I still want to get video streaming thru GPRS but have no luck so far!

Hi, I found another DaPeng T2000 hidden function: the PgUp arrow key of the keyboard opens a 3 row menu written in chinese titled QQ2008. Does anyone know what is this function?
Another question: does anyone know how set the accelerometer sensitivity and velocity? Many thks.

When I press pgUp on mine, I get the "User Profiles" menu, in English. I seem to recall that there is an option in the "Settings" menu that allows you to assign a key to a given menu. Perhaps yours is set by default to that odd Chinese menu. As to what it is, I haven't a clue. Perhaps if you post a pic of the screen, someone here could translate it.

Hi Yorgle, I investigated what you sad and I found the setting function you indicated. So I confirm it's possible to assign a function to the four arrow key on the keyboard.
Perhaps , I'll can to make a translation: I'll post here the meaning as soon as I'll have it.
About the accerometer setting, I realize my phone hasn't the menu hook for accelerometer sensitivity setting. Anyone knows if there is the possibility to make this regulation?
Thks
