Daxian x808 - Please Help!!

Thank you for reading my thread.

I am hoping someone here can help me...
I have a Daxian x808 phone, but cannot find ANY information on it!

I dont know the make of cpu, gps receiver or even its operating system (apparently its a linux chipset, thats all I know).

Everything is in Chinese, except for the menus are set to English. I cant seem to do anything with this phone. I cant find an English manual or documentation, or even information searching in forums.
I have even tried Chinese sites translated to English, but of the few sites around they all have a standard 'Description' with no real information. Everything seems to be for different models when looking at Daxian.

The more information I can get the better. Especially an English manual.

I am also trying to get some SatNav software working with UK Maps if anyone can help! does TomTom or Garmin software work on this phone? If so, how? I have tried but says 'no application' etc.

Does anyone know what SatNav / GPS software is installed on this phone? I cant read any of it. The logo starts up in chinese with the number 6 and Linux in English. Thats all I know.
Also whats this 'amazing' E-Dog software for GPS thats also installed?

I looks very similar to a GT-GOOD x808 except mine is not running windows mobile. However, I cannot seem to find any real information on this phone either!


I dont understand... Its like this phone doesn't even exist!! :confused:
Could it be a fake of a fake? :eek:

I dont know what software I can install on it. All I can find about its o/s is that its a linux chip and nothing else.


Please can anyone help :(
