F030 gps - GSM-Forum

The navigation software which comes with the F030 ( SUNAVI ) works fine, but there are no european maps available.
The built-in GPS does not seem to work with the JAVA API for GPS.
Is there any other map application, which works with the GPS in that phone ?

i m sorry to hear to that, where do you buy the phone? you should tell the seller your location, and provided you local map. www.***********.com will provide customer special map of their location. today,gps map update slowly,many cant be used in the local field. but i suggest you search in google, there should be what you want. good luck~

Same problem here...

The gps is working and I get my position from the sunavi program that is build in.

The fly ying factory answered that there are currently no european maps ... I was amAzed to get an answer anyway ....

I have russia, chile , mexico, argentina, and brazil map

And finaly have it startup in english menu and speech so I made a rar file ...

you can find it on emule

for as far as i know... not yet , and if you do get us map please share...

I finally got a response from the Fly-ing folks that the USA map will be available in "one month." Which, translated from Chinese, means...

Four and a third weeks
30 days
Real Soon Now
Go away!

...take your pick.

i take 4 ....

And there is always option number 5

5. please buy new phone next month, this one is old and worked for about two month, so please be happy with that fact. And you will find out what new bugs we have introduced in our latest firmware.

Other issue ... flashcable ... calibration is screwed up and IF i finaly get it into the calibration mode i can calibrate for hours and I never get the answer calibrated ...

also an option 5 ???

Just got my F030. The gps give me map load error cuz there's not map in it!? Any word on the USA map if it "coming in one month" or not?
