imei change is illegal.

also if your government block all of china phone, first need to know there process, that means what way they are use.

all cell phone communication tower can identify your handset model and imei.

now there is question is if they use imei method, its there wrong decision, because many many china phone have in market, which imei is same to other brand mobile as like most nokia phone imei.

so i think they use handset info and handset processor info, if they use this technology you can't do anything to change imei or don't revive your phone.

at last wait n see, what are they doing and what process they use than you can take a decision.

if you ask me , and i dont know nothing about china phones , this problem you have is nothing to do with blocked imei numbers ....
your imei is just fuked on the phone , you just need to repair it ....
dont just write new imei , maybe you need to repair phone soft or hardware before ... again i dont know anything about china phones....

Thanx for the quick reply. But the second Vodafone sim is working fine. May be they havent been strict on Vodafone as of now.

You may be right that "imei is fuked in the phone".
This phone might have to be flashed.

If anyone can help flashing with MTK Flash Tool v6.1.8.
I am facing connection problem.

I think I have configured COM port properly as I am able to download Contact's & messages using China phone PC Suite V2.0742.07(07A).

please help.
