Help needed Flashtool FW readback

Hi guys :-)
I have a sciPhone Dream G2+ and I want to dump it's firmware. The Phone has a MT6235 CPU, so I thought the Flashtool is the right choice. I was able to make a DIY flashcable but NOW the problems are just beginning. First of all, I have NO IDEA what the rom size is, I am GUESSING it's a 32MB rom but any other size might be possible as well.

Anyway, I don't have the sightest clue what the difference between NOR and NFB is? When I select NOR, a red indicator goes across the screen and then an error message appears

Next problem: When I select NFB, what should I select? Page and Spare, or Page only?

Even more trouble

I selected NFB, page only, everything looks great (at first!!!). Sooner or later the flashtool gives me error usually after about 30 Minutes to one hour of dumping It looks like this:



The 9V Batterie is NEW, the phone is fully charged.

I'm running VISTA, could that also be a problem?

Any suggestions? Any ideas?

Dear don,t make it to much complicated for urself simpel

No read to read Nfb that option is for nand flash chip

read Nor flash chip and use that new version of mtk tool

Of course I tried to read a NOR flash, I got the following error:



I decided to take the flashtool's "ask for help" advise, so here I am
