Member: 1388229 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Help needed with an unidentified manufacturer of a China Tablet recently I got a broken China-tablet which I am trying to repair, and not matter how and where I search, I can not find any conclusive answers regarding the manufacturer, and as such no working drivers for ADB and as such not able to find firmware, to root the device, not able to install a new bootloader, etc.... Rooting the device, no matter what app or program, they dont succeed. And yes, I have opened the device and took it completely apart to search for Motherboard maker data printed on the MB: the whole chips-area is covered with a soldered metal casing that functions also as coolers. And de-soldering the device is not what I am planning to do. On the flip-side of the print-plate I found a sticker with some data, that also did not help me any further. I have run a few apps on the device itself to find out what it's specs are, and I will post them below.. It is sold as a TEC tablet with a 7 inch display. The others gave me: Device: -Model: SK768 -Codename: astar-m708 -Chipset Manufacturer: Allwinner -Motherboard: sun8i (please note: no version mentioned while it is important) -CPU Hardware : sun8i -SoC model: Allwinner A33 (as mentioned by AID64 app) -Processor : ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l) astar -Cores : 4 -CPU Frequency : 480 MHz - 1344 MHz -Supported ABIs : armeabi-v7a, armeabi -GPU: Mali-400 MP; ARM; OpenGL ES-CM 1.1; OpenGL ES 2.0 -RAM: 1024 MB -Flash: 4 GB (3.693 GB actual); 0.250 GB; 8 GB (7.344 GB actual) -Build Fingerprint : Allwinner / astar_m708 / astar-m708:6.0.1 / MOB30R/20170602:user/test-keys |
