Nokia 8800 Unknown Model - GSM-Forum

My friend's got a Nokia 8800 Chinese version which cannot be conected to the NPCS.

Here's some info:

*#0000# menu says Nokia 8800SA V03.60, 06-04-08, RM-303, Copyright Nokia, Variant 00.00

Back of the phone info says Type RM-233, Model 8800e-1

*#92702689# info shows only the Life Timer.

Problems:

When connecting the USB cable, available modes are Mass Storage, WebCam and COM Port. None of them connects to Nokia PC Suite or Nokia Software Updater, so it cannot be flashed that way.

When activating the camera from the phone menu, error messages like "Camera already in use" or "Camera module not ready" are displayed.

Phone menu is mutilated as many of the functions that should be there are not present, including update.

Any help is appreciated.

Nope, because it doesn't exist. The phone was a piece of crap and had software like a color 3310. Why did you ask?
