Phone Book issue - GSM-Forum

Dear Friends,

I have a China Model A968 Dual Sim with TV. I have reset the phone to factory default. Now my phone book is gone. I have a back up but how to upload it. Please suggest a step by step method to restore my phone book.

Thanks friends for your reply to my quary.

I generally use PCSyncManager to back up my phone book. I export the downloaded contacts into my HDD as .csv file.

I had reset my mobile to Factory settings from the mobile itself Menu --> Settings --> Restore Factory Settings. It will ask for a password for these models it is 1122

I got my problem solved and got all my contacts back - How?

I first imported my .csv file to Outlook and opened PCSyncManager. Under Settings select 'Load Phonebook of "Outlook"'. Now the contacts are visible under PhoneBook of PCSyncManager. Just select all or Ctrl A them Ctrl C to copy. Now select Handset Folder under Phonebook and Paste Ctrl V. Wow you have all the contacts back in phone.
