Please help with flash cable!

Hello
I have made a flash cable using a usb-> rs232 converter which has pl-203 chip and driver.
I have 3 wires from rs232 cable: Rx, Tx, gnd
also can have 1 wire with 1n4007 diode from usb side. Do I need it?

This is my phone: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.23069
It has MK6225 chip.

On my phone I have 5 terminals labled Rx, Tx, Pwr, gnd, Vbat
gnd is connected to the -ve of the battery
V bat is connected to +ve of the battery

I have 4 questions:
What is pwr? where shall I connect it?
Where do I connect signal gnd from rs232?
Do I need wire from USB side with 1N4007? it already has power from battery.
Also how do I find memory size? 4M, 8M, 16m??? I need to format the right address.

Here is a pic to explain it better:

Thanks!!

Ok I attached signal gnd from rs232 to gnd on the phone and nothing connected to "pwr".
I used MKT flash tool and tried to do a read back.
I keep getting error message: S_BROM FAILED TO GET BBCHIP HW VER
It still happens if I uncheck "baseband chip option".
I have also tried different baud rates.
If I hold down power button on phone and connect it, nothing happens. When I let go of the power button, the error message comes up again.
I also get the error message if I short the RX and TX wires.
Can anyone help me please?

No one knows the answer?
When I plug in the charger, VBat measures ~ +4V and Pwr measures ~ +5V. Is Pwr the raw power from the charger? Is it used for "auto power on" when flashing?
I still can't get MKT flash tools to see the phone. Am I using the right settings?
Thanks
