Problem with v2 Voda Fone

Dear friends, we have a problem with this phone

We have really 10 problems, because we have both 10 of them, and they have the same problem:

The problem is when we use the sim1 slot, the phone doesn´t work. The touch display it appears but doesn´t work when you press any icon.

If we use only the sim2 slot, it works very well.

And with 2 cards simultaneously it doesn,t work , the same problem as with the slot 1.

Here you are same photos:

And this is the name of flash file:

TOPWISE25_GEMINI_PCB01_GPRS_MT6225_S00.MAUI_GEMINI _W08_12.BIN

I´ve asked to infinity box help and they has told my that is very probably my software is corrupted, so, PLEASE:

Somebody has a good flas file to send me?

Please, if yes, this is my e-mail: [email protected]

Thanks a lot everybody

I just bought this phone 2 weeks ago from China ( cectcellphone) and I have exactly the same problem.

Hope a solution will comme soon.

By the way, anyone knows what cpu is inside this phone ? MT6225 or 6227.

I would like to know more about this phone ( seems to be a good one except this kind of problem )
Can anyone give me some leads ?....

Thank you

It will be interesting to know where you bought it.
If you bought those 10 phones at the same shop as mine ( cectcellphone) that means the whole lot have this problem.

And if you bought these phones elsewhere, it means this model of phone has a serial default.

Hope it's only a soft problem. Cause if it's a hardware problem, we are all dead.

I noticed one more thing.

After checking with imei checker, i found out :

1/ the 2 sims have the same imei ( which is not possible, and that is probabbly the source of our problem )

2/ on the back of the phone there is a sticker where is printed a diffrent imei number. With my imei checker, I tried to change my slot 1 with this imei but the program failed.

So if anyone knows a program that can force an imei change, that will be fine.

V2 Voda phone problem SOLVED

Ok the problem with slot 1 of this fone has found is solution at 99%.

Her"s how to do it.

First download Javqui Imei tool ( www.angels.com)

Install it, then :

Open Javqui tool.
Turn off phone
Put 2 sim cards in slot 1 and 2.
Turn on the phone and enter sim code etc...
Turn OFF the phone.
Plug the usb cable to PC and vodafone.
Turn on the phone.
Select comport on the phone
Select port on Javqui auto or manual
You will see 2 cases up and below which contains the same Imei numbers.
( on my phone the 2 numbers are the same and different from the one printed in the back of the phone )
change Imei 1 with the number printed behind the phone, the OK.

After 2 seconds Javqui will tell you the change has been successful.

Turn off the phone, unplug the cable the turn it on.

Now the two sims must work.

I succeed in doing it. The sole minor problem is now on my phone screen it shows imei error, but iin fact it works fine, I've tried it a dozen times with both sims.

Regarding this error, maybe did i only change the first sim slot with the printed number ? Maybe should i have change the slot below too, but i have'nt tried it yet.

But in any cas you must change the IMEI number one by one. It will not work if you change them simultaneously.

Now, if you find out a trick to erase the message "imei error" please let me know.

Thanks

voda fone v2 solution.....

Sorry for being too fast in my news.

In fact the solution i've shown above is working good as long as you don't power off your phone.

And when you are using one slot, only slot 2 is working.

When you decide to use 2 slots, you will have to re do the same operation described above. And you shall not power off your phone.

So ly solution is HALF WORKING only.

If anyone have a better solution, please post it.

Well, it is very interesting your solution.
I think that means is a software problem, so, there are a solution, the question is what´s the solution.

I´ve bought one more of them, and my provider has tell me he has double check it before send me. When it arrives I will use his correct flash file in order to overwrite the 10 phones.

I dont know if it could be the solution mcao. What do you think?
