Showing 2 IMEI numbers - GSM-Forum

i got one sigmatel s88i with hanging problem. i formatted it. now after formatting when i insert sim card & turn it on, it automatically shut down after booting but working fine without sim card.when i do *#06 it is show 2 IMEI numbers now.

It's Hardware problem .Check if phone fully power on in "Power Supply" then simply change battery Ur prob will solve .

Did u try to flash ur set with new same version file if not then ist flash it with new file.

This is not related with flashing ,i swear,being a technician i suggest to resolve this by HW.

before formatting phone was turning on. just hanging. now it turn on without sim card ut with sim card shuts down by itself after getting network

Does it Shut down before appearing signal or after?

right after the main screen comes up & opretor logo shows after tht it shuts down

Apply Voltage 4.8 and then post result.
Reason: some china phones need more than 1100 mA current.For them additional current is provided by increasing voltage so that they can fully pwer on.

Yea....agree 4.2 V is more stable.
