hi
my phone is having the same problem as Gladiators001
i got a dual phone from hong kong like a few days ago and it work perfectly with the hong kongese sim cards but it doesnt work with my vodafone ( i can only send txts ) and meteor (" sim card registration failed ") sim cards
im wondering if i can get some help from you guys

imei of mtk based fones can be change very easily by infinity

how do i change de imei ??
i checked a few phone repairing shops in town today but none of them hav de thing for to change it ...

my imei starts with 1 btw ..

Has anyone had any success with this issue, as i have a very pretty paperweight on me, i have tried a bunch of applications online and i cannot find any that will successfully edit the IMEI of my Vertu Ti.

Hi Gladiators001

I too am in Ireland and have purchased several chinese dual sim phones the problem here in Ireland is that O2, meteor and tesco mobile all share the same netwrok and vodafone on different network. you will get both sims to work if you use combination of vf/o2, vf/meteor, vf/tesco. If you still have problems you may need to reset the IMEI number as very often these chinese phones have only one valid IMEI and the networks will block the other, hence only one sim works.

sorry i should have explained my situation:
have bravo v9 dual sim. Sim 1 is O2 postpay working perfect Sim2 Vodafone prepay will send/recieve text but not calls, i get network fail if i try to make call even though i have full bar signal strenght and vodafone IE shows up on screen. the IMEI given are 355*******22822 IMEISV:78 IMEI 1357******11220. the data cable i got with the phone will only charge the phone and not able to connect it to PC

Someone please help

hello everyone, i need a bit of help, i have a unlocked phone with CECT software model MT6227. i need to change the imei. i can see the youtube directions from unlock king pk, but i would like to know where i can get the master tool software to change imei using usb. if anyone thinks i should be using a different software with usb please advise so and advise where i can get the software from, i am new to this so i would appreciate as much info as possible. Thanks in advance
