What is difference between Pac files and bin format?

Pac files and bin format mean? and when they use?

.bin is full dump of china phone flashfile, usually done by Chinese Box. this is done in case of accidental dead or hang in logo. So that you will write back to phone.

.Pac file is factory flashfile. It is peculiar to Spectrum phone(SPD)
