lg translator how 2 use? - GSM-Forum

pls write step by step instruction 2 lg translator (if it possible on u310 example). because i download flashes from support and i cant open them in translator (always bad file say). may be it needed 2 be activate or something else? also editing in phone also not alowed.

I also tried with U310 but it doesn't work with this model. If you connect phone and program shows you list of languages available in phone then you can change (edit) language, if it doesn't read languages in phone, you can't.
Those are only my observations.

Hello, we are checking on the problem with u310 at the moment. If there's something wrong we will fix it as soon as possible. This model is supported for sure.

Translator Manual
"the library&dictionary bookmark"- we provide the access path to the flash with a languages base ,C:\Program Files\SmartKey\LG\library\
it will load the languages base, and we select those we are interested in, we move on to the bookmark Files, then we select
a flash from the support, the best would be the same version that is written into the phone (Files - Load Files), the number of languages
appears to you and you select the one you want to translate.
We can also translate automatically. We press the right button on the mouse, we choose "select all", once again we click with
the right mouse button, then we move on to the "Auto translate select to..." option and then the list of available languages is shown to us and we select
the one we are interested in and we write it in.
With the manual option, on the other hand, we translate each text separately.When the translation is finished you can save the whole project
or write it into the phone. In order to do it we move on to the bookmark "built" with the phone connected , then you select the language that is
translated and you select the language that you want to change.Then you press "build&upload to phone", it takes a few seconds, then the information
taht everything is all right will appear.. Then you power the phone on.To make the language visible in the menu you need to
start it . If it was already selected before you need to turn it on once again with the other language.

seems another bug whis u370w. after chosing danish or english language and chose auto translate i got mostly empty strings. after writing it 2 phone i got empty menu. pls add status bar because we dont know is it working or just hang.

the mistake is with the russian language, the rest is all right, we are fixing it at the moment. thank you for informing about any problems that occur, but with the library containing over 5.000000 strings - they sometimes happen. we will try to fix them at the very moment you inform about any of them.don't hesitate to report any problems.

any news whis russian lp bug? my castomers r little angry at me because i lie them that i can translate their phones

by the way seems u have such bug whis ukrainian lp too.

another bug: ku380 branded by vodafone ver 10a. i try 2 write just rassian lang from 10b balcans. 1st. soft not correctly detect number of languages at phone (4 examle it find finland in phone

) after writing russiang lp i get damaged menu. some leeters r missing and structure also damaged.

and 2 more important things: 1) flash the phone to this soft version you edit. If you have different soft versions in the phone and in the flash, use the CONVERT option.
2) after loading the language to the phone, firstly you have to start another language, not the one you translated, and secondly, you need to start the one that is translated.
