I strongly advice you to NOT put TornadoSIM in the iPhone. I did try it, and the card is stuck inside. I have spent an hour trying to get it out now, without success. This is the exact same thing happened when i tried it in a SE K850i.

Before i tried TornadoSIM i tried YesSIM with many different settings, but i didn't get signal on any setting. So i don't think these cards will work. Both Yessim and tornadoSIM bypasses the simlock, getting signal is the problem.

it depends on how you piggyback the sim with the Tsim inside... better use double adhesive to be safe..

thats what i did before and no problem..

BUt now dont have a iphone 3g yet to test ..

so those who has, pls give it a shot and post results... Thanks.

Problem is that even if it works, I would never sell TornadoSIM to customers when there is a risk that it gets stuck like it did with me. I got it out finally (in pieces), but i have many scratches at the top of the phone, and the tray is also little damaged. I'm just lucky the SIM reader still works...

I warned you

I think a solution could be to use tape around the top of the tray, so that the chip is covered with tape. But i'm not going to try that and risk my iphone again.

... it happened 1 hours after hat iPhone 3G is on sale in my country .. so i am in same ship with you .... a test-driver ....

i fixed the switch already .... had to make another one, gladly that I was a Dental Technician, so i can duplicate from another iPhone ...

i am going to try another time, since my iPhone is disassembled already, so i am not afraid to be stuck again .... but too busy these days, i will give it a try later when i hv time ...

but same thing here, even it works, i will not sell it too ....

Same **** happened to me, and I destroyed a Tornado SIM and the iPhone's sim tray in removing it. What a piece of ****, this iPhone 3G is turning out to be...

~Cheers~

you have many post saying you have solution, and not sharing??

I didn't test with any other provider's iPhone, only TESTED and WORKING with Rogers or FIDO iPhone

[PRESET]
PRESET_NAME = "iPhone 3G"
PRESET_IMSI = "001010123456789"
PRESET_MASK = "111110000000000"
PRESET_FAKE = "10000000000000000000000000000000"

since mySIM doesn't have 3G, so I have to disable 3G option in iPhone, it is under Setting,->Network

if I didn't disable 3G option, i cannot receive call, but call out no problem, when 3G option is disable in iPhone, all is working ... even after 48 hours, still running good ...

don't blame me if not working good, i only tested on FIDO and ROGERS iPhones .... sold many Tornado SIM already, no complain yet ...
Remember, my setting needs to disable 3G in iPhone, if someone has better solution that able to use 3G, use it then ...

and again

since iPhone 3G has thinner slot for SIM card, if you put ur SIM and T-SIM together into it, it will be a headache to take it out ...

better way is to:

1. use double side tape to tape the SIM and T-SIM together, especially the TOP and BOTTOM, so it will not bend easily

2. trim you SIM a little bit, so it have an angle at the TOP, so when you wanna take the SIM out, it will not stuck.

3. better way, trim all SIM surface, so it become thinner
