does tornado sim support iphone 3g w/ baseband 2.30.03? if so pls give me firmware and preset. thanks!

Yes. It supports. Flash phome with fw 2.2 (downgrade using DFU mode) and try usual firmware and preset for this fw.

i tried but it wont signal.. my problem is on the 2.2.1 firmware that's why the baseband is 2.30

did you try to software it to 2.2?if yes and still no signal try to install in cydia apt9.yellowsn0w.com and install also the i.yellowsn0w.com

i already tried installing it but the 2.30 baseband still prevents other networks from getting a signal... and by the way what's i.yellowsn0w.com??? i only used apt9.yellowsn0w.com

Yellowsn0w wont work with baseband 02.30.03.

Yellowsnow is very important after downgrade ,, because with rebel sim and turbo sim if you dont do yellowsnow there will be no network but with yellowsnow installed network comes up high ...so after downgrading yellowsnow is important AND YES I AM TALKING ABOUT V2.30 BASEBAND ...

WETHER YOU USE TSAMBA METHOD OR TURBO SIM U HAVE TO DO YELLOWSNOW AFTER DOWNGRADE

ps: TORNADO SIM DID NOT WORK FOR ME BUT TURBO SIM AND REBEL SIM WORKS ... WONDER WHY TORNADO SIM SUPPORT IS NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR ITS CUSTOMERS

@ MIKE , so u mean to make 2.30 baseband work w/ other sims. i have to downgrade version (not baseband) into let say iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore then do unlock & jailbreak method and install yellowsn0w... after that i can use TORNADO / REBEL / TURBO SIM then it will work with the 2.30 baseband?

P.S. i have read the tsmaba method but im not familiar w/ it yet so i'd like to use the TORNADO / REBEL / or TURBO SIM

This works on some carriers:

Fake IMSI: 00101AA23456789
IMSI Mask: 111111100000000
Fake Sequence: [only first checked]

Tested on 2.2.1 with 02.30.03. Phone does not need to be jailbroken. Yellowsn0w must not be installed.

In any case, internet (EDGE/3G) does not work with Tornado SIM.

yes it worked but some simcards seems to have problem when using with the tornado.
