Iphone 3G FW2.2 - GSM-Forum

I updated my iphone3G to FW 2.2, now I have "No Service" thing, I jailbroken with QuickPwn2.2, phone show signal for 3 second then No Service I have done everything but no signal anymore

Any Idea?

there is no workaround for this problem now. The 2.2 firmware also contains a baseband update (2.28.00) wich does't allow the usage of a sim proxy(Tornado sim or any kind of similar product). There are 2 things we can hope for : an update for the Tsim or a baseband downgrader.

I read in other thread that fw 2.2 work with yessim, but u need original operator sim to jailbreak with Itunes sim, then u can use yessim, but i dont know with tornadosim, hope this team do something quick for this problem

Just wait and be patient. If it possible in theory Tornado SIM will unlock iPhone 3G fw 2.2.

I use Tornado Sim in iPhone 3G.
But I up firmware form iTune 2.1 to 2.2
I can Jailbreak. but i can't use phone (No signal).
**I use write Tornado Sim with TornadoSIM 5.02 and TornadoSIM_0218ib_iPhone_final.trn and TornadoSIM_0219ib_iPhone_final.trn and TornadoSIM_0220ib_iPhone.trn
no signal
Help me I need a new version for Tornado Sim.

tornado sim only work well on (Setting-General-About-Modem Firmware:02.11.07 On Firmware "TornadoSIM_0216_iPhone3G_ok.trn" not work on Modem Firmware :02.28.01 the only way we can do is sitting & wait no other solution Regard
