Member: 289563 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | TSIM Troubles: BlackBerry Bold 9000 The first time I powered on the phone with it the handset connected to the network just fine and I was able to make and receive calls. However, after a few minutes I looked at the phone and noticed that it had dropped the network connection, and now showed "SIM not provisioned:2" on the screen. I rebooted the phone several times with no change in behavior. In fact, it got worse. It no longer remained on the network for all but the briefest of moments. I've tried increasing the number of checked boxes in the pattern and even tried iPhone firmwares 2.19 and 2.20, but all behave in exactly the same way. The original SIM still works fine in my original T-Mobile BlackBerry 8100. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this error message? |

Member: 289563 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | I tried using Tornado SIM firmware v2.18 and waited a full 5 minutes to see what would happen. After about 1 minute the status changed from "Searching for Network" to "SIM not provisioned:2". The following settings are being used: Fake ISMI: 310410123456789 ISMI Mask: 111111000000000 Fake Sequence: 10000000000000000000000000000000 |

Member: 289563 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | I've been progressively trying older and older firmwares and have found some luck so far with v2.15 for the iPhone using the above settings. I will continue to monitor its stability and report back accordingly. That aside, I am quite frustrated with the current state of the Tornado SIM firmware. Why is it that I have to experiment with so many different firmware versions? I bought 100 pieces and this issue makes it very difficult to sell to clients as a "universal" solution. I should be able to just use the most current version of the firmware and be done with it instead of flashing and re-flashing firmwares for hours and hours. Gobi, what can we do to help you achieve this goal? |
