I need to unlock my Blackberry 9800 so i can use it with a new carrier. My former employer could not survive the bad economy and closed it's doors over a year ago. Despite my intensive year-long job search, I am still unemployed and can no longer afford to have cell phone service for my BB Torch. My very generous friend has offered to add me to his plan at his expense, but the carrier with whom I had service until they shut me off for non-payment will not give me the unlock code until my 2-year, $125/mo contract ends. I used Google to find out my unlock code, but I typed it incorrectly and it is now at "0 attempts left. Can my counter be reset and/or can my phone be unlocked? If yes, how? Where? How much will it cost? Please help! Thank you in advance, to anyone who can give me information about this. ![]() Karla in Phoenix, AZ | |
