All users having problem with Updating dongle or opening software plz post here

All the people who have problems in upgrading their dongle or opening software please post here

When you run NFF software, logo appears and then closes and nothing happens then

Cause of problem

1) Either you have not installed Main Setup software 3.0
2) Either you have not upgraded your dongle using dongle upgrade tool
3) Driver for dongle is conflicting

Solution :

1) Install Main Setup software 3.0 and then install updates
2) Download dongle upgrade tool and upgrade your dongle , dongle upgrade tool will display dongle Serial and version
Latest firmware version of dongle is version 2.0
3) You need to uninstall dongle driver and install again to solve driver conflicting

How to Uninstall and Reinstall dongle drivers

To Uninstall

1) Remove dongle from PC
2) Go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Smart card readers > egate USB Smart card readers
Right click on egate USB Smart card readers and select uninstall , Press Ok to confirm uninstall



To Install driver

1) Connect Dongle to PC
2) Your PC will detect new hardware
3) Either it will install driver automaticaly or It will ask you for driver
4) Give the link where driver is located and let your PC install the driver
5) Run NFF.exe and all will be ok


Problem

When you run dongle update tool to upgrade your dongle you get an error

Dongle upgrade started:3:25:17 PM----------
Locating Emeralda server...
Emeralda server found!
Connecting to Emeralda server...
Connection to server failed: Socket Error # 10060
Connection timed out.

Solution

Contact support@nff-box.com with this log

Problem

When you try to upgrade your dongle you get this errro

--------Dongle upgrade started:11:45:11----------
Locating Emeralda server...
Emeralda server found!
Connecting to Emeralda server...
Server connection successfully established.
Authenticating on server...
Authentication stage error: Server reported error:No more upgrade logs.

Solution :

Contact support@nff-box.com with this log and your dongle serial number
we will answer you with repair instructions

I Have a problem while upgrade my NFF Dongle

I switch off all of firewalls, router forwarding all ports and have the same problem:

Dear sir

I have problem while using my nff dongle please help me soon After purchasing i had not use this befor
