Hi

What configuration do you use? Windows version, hardware...etc
I have a similar one but encountered an issue...

I'm running Windows 7 32b, 4g ram, intel i5, LgeTool running on Xp SP2 compatibility (i already tried without compatibility enabled and/or with compatibility xp sp3...)

It is a clean Windows install, only LgeTool and BB drivers installed

Ok I suggest uninstall bb drivers and install lib usb from support or from google

I already did that...
Ran in different compatibility modes, different drivers...al stuff
The problem seems to be that the phone takes about 8-10 seconds to reconnect after LgeTool reboots it and the program doesn't wait for it and tries to reconnect "forced" looking for its USB#VID signature and not for the device itself...

Ok mate ur all drivers conflicted each other so the solution is only install fresh window and install lib usb drivers only then try because I did this same process and unlocked almost. 15 pieces

I doubt it because it didn't work from the first time. Installed Windows and only LgeTool and BB drivers from support and it had no reason not to work considering that other bb worked. I did 8 pcs 8520 and had no problem.
Anyway... Thank you for advices

Ok if you done some before i was not aware then there must n issue with phone charging slot some time tx points r broken so don't know what exact it is u can give a try
