How to insert the Unlock CODE into your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2

1. Power ON your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 with an accepted SIM Card.

2. Press the LEFT arrow or joystick button once.

3. Press the STAR (*) button twice.

4. Press the LEFT arrow or joystick button again.

5. You will briefly see one of the following messages listed on your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 display:

* Personalized with MNC2
* Personalized with MNC3

6. Wait approximately 4 seconds.

7. The display will indicate "Network" and a picture of a closed padlock.

8. Press Select.

9. The display will indicate "Unlock (Net) 5" and "NCK:"

10. You can now enter the Unlock CODE

11. Your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 will display "Network unlocked" and then "Insert SIM" message.

12. Your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is now unlocked!

thts the way given at some sites

but sometimes it don,t work and it didn,t worked for me so in th case u have to enter the code manually

Steps

First click start>explorar>windows>service menu>simlock>manage lock and there u can enter unlocking code

but some times it don,t give u option for managing lock in tht case update the software using sony ericson update service http://rapidshare.com/files/43445090...2.10.11.10.exe and then u ll b able to manage lock

buddy i have tried two proceses but nothing still cant unlock so if any one know other way to enter please help

in next step i cant find service menu i have updated the service also
