Step by step tutorial of MEP0 attempts unlocking on a Blackberry 9900.

Here we describe the process of MEP0 attempts unlocking on a Blackberry 9900. All rest supported models (9620, 9810, 9850, 9860, 9930, 9981) you can do by similar procedure.

First you must connect the MicroSD memory to the computer with any USB Adapter, we used this ******* adapter.

Later we select them model from the list, in our cases its 99xx Family and click in Connect it will look like in the following screenshot. It describes that if it’s the first time connecting this phone it will deduct credits from your LGTOOL account (20 credits ~ 10 USD per phone) . All the further processes that you apply to the same physical phone will be free

Now it will ask if you want to write the image to the memory click on YES

At this point you must shutdown any antivirus program to avoid interruption of program functions and you must also has Administrator rights on your computer, its recommended also to disconnect any USB devices you are not using at that moment.

Now it will detect the USB MicroSD Memory and its size, it warns you about all the data existing on it will be destroyed (Formatted), Click on YES.

After the file has been written to the memory, you will be asked to disconnect you must do the following steps.

1. Disconnect the MicroSD adapter from the computer and take out the MiscroSD memory.
2. Take out the battery and the SIM card from the Blackberry phone.
3. Solder a 3V Battery to the MicroSD with very thin wires like shown in this picture, respecting the polarity RED is +(Positive) and Black is – (Negative) from the battery.

You can use two 1.5 Volts common Batteries serial connected to achieve 3V. They must be common alkaline batteries (Not rechargeable)

4. Now you put the MicroSD carefully into the memory slot on the phone, with the 3V battery connected (Phone must be WITHOUT Battery) and connect the phone to the PC using MicroUSB Datacable

5. After connecting the phone you will see a new Device on the PC, it will show as QUACOMM HS-USB Device on the Device Manager, under SERIAL and LPT section. You must install the provided Qualcomm drivers installer

Once connected and with driver installed Click on YES like in the following picture

Now process continues and it will search for the phone on the serial ports …

Phone Found and LGTOOL Connected to it …

Once Detected and Connected we must select the wanted operation, in this case we click on UNLOCK button for Direct Unlocking…it will show as Unlocking Phone… Please Wait

And after a few seconds it will finish a happy unlocking showing Phone Successfully Unlocked

And finally this is the phone screen with the so long waited MEP0 Unlocking solution, LGTOOL first in the world !!
