how to unlock A2 phones with setool

hi all,

could some one please give me detailed steps of how to unlock A2 phones e.g. K850, W910, W890 etc with setool.

please could you also outline which settings i have to choose using setool v36.

@power1977 , No need to be rude, we all was newbbies sometime.. and he post in this forum, so we answer in this forum too

@mutuza, Follow this steps:



select USB as interfase.

select model

in settings - tick "SIGNED MODE", "PERFORM FULL UNLOCK INSTEAD OF USERCODE RESET", and fill your logs account data.

press UNLOCK / REPAIR , and connect it pressing "C" .

if you have necesarry logs - you will get this message

"RESPONSE" "SIGNATURE QUEUED FOR CALCULATION, CHECK BACK LATER"

(this mean the calculation are added. this calculation may take 72 hours maximum.
if after 3 days (72 hours) the sign are not be calculated- used logs return automatically when you press "information")

If you get the message "QUEUE FULL, CHECK BACK LATER",
(This mean all slots for calculationn are busy and try again )

Then - you can keep using phone normally and checking every half hour , repeating same process, ( tick in settings, press unlock )


If sign are done - you will see 'SUCCESS RESPONSE,
If sign are not done - you will see: ""YOUR_IMEI" ALREADY IN QUEUE"
- This means sign are still in calculation.

If caclculation was succesfull, sign are stored in backup\"your imei" in setool2 folder

then backup of gdfs are created if anything goes bad
then, software tells to power phone:

- Unplug it
- Fully turn in on
- Phone are in 5 locks condition, thats normal
- Connect phone to usb cable
- If ask fo change mode - Choose phone mode.
- You will be asked for drivers ,if you dont installed before.
- install all drivers


Software serach all available COM ports till find your phone

Process continue, phone will be power off and unlocked


Cost is 7 logs split in 2 stages:

calculation = 4 credits
Unlock = 3 credits

guys i have w890 for unlocking.
i have made the calculation part but now i cant get to normal mode because all 5 lock are locked.
i`ve tried with motorola test card but it dosnt get in phone mode
i have also tried with the sim card from the provider that was locked but still the same
what should i do?

u can use credits to unlock that phone

connect power on phone without simcard and plug it to usb cable, setool find it in one COMport.
