| K700i died shortly after charging my k700i it turned on ok but hung at the startup picture, now when i press the on button the on button flashes red, i've tried recovering and reflashing with sonics and setool but no joy GUI v0.91373/UNI standalone version engaged. Card serial:00001283 Loaded 49 flash descriptors Open COM port OK ChipID:8000,EMP protocol:0301 PHONE IS RED RETAIL PRODUCT FLASH CID detected:29 Speed:115200 err: E3 failed to load CERTLOADERS,try to use RECOVERY. Elapsed:33 secs. RECOVERY MODE STARTED Open COM port OK Elapsed:53 secs. Lante Sonics is Ready.. Device ready. TRY TO RECOVER PHONE NOW... Powering phone... Warning: chip id read error. Powering phone... Chip Id: 0x8000 CID detected: 29 Phone color: RED. Speed: 115200 bps No answer from phone. failed to load BOOTLOADERS, exit. | i've tried a new battery and the phone miraculously works, how can the battery affect the phone? when i try the dead battery in another phone that power button just flashes red? |

| In ANY SonyEricsson when the LED flashes RED it means that the battery is too LOW and has to be charged. And this also explains why you got the wrong flashID with sonics. When flashing always use constant power supply or use a voltmeter to check on the battery's voltage. BR |

you need sonic old exe (v1.220) and (v1.228) and se tools, and T68 standard cable. In the first connecte your cable and after put the batry "Full charge" Use sonic 1.220 and recover your phone to CID36 RED And after use SE tools to flash your phone, (very importand : chose your files and chose option "convert to CID36 Brown" and coche option "convert to red, and finlase phone" in Se tools or sonic bix, you need to press power button to start the recover or flash. after flash your main and fs write GDFS. Your phone in turn on its possible the phone freez in language menu. the solution is very simple. Lanche sonic 1.228 and chos in your Gdfs files il last case. coche the option K700 freez. Click in write GDFS, and after click in "unlock/repair". enjoy  your phone is work. B.R. | |
