For me it's not Free, Co'z You cannot used LGETool if your setool is not activated, here in our place 30 credits worth 80-82 US Dollars, if you can activate your setool with out paying credits then you can say...... it is free. my 30 credits last only 6 to 10 months then buy again another 30 credits. so..... it's not Free.

you cannot use setool if you do not activate it. You dont really use a lot of setool, I used to buy a 30 credits log every 2 weeks. Now it is much less because xperia's unlocking do not take any credit.
I got 2 of my ACTIVATED setool cards, just because I wrote some stuff they didnt like, I am not opening public posts crying about it. I use it mostly for SE phones, and I loved SRS samsung tool, so I use that a lot too.

And I have other cards that still can access remote service, mostly because I have lots of friends willing to help me when I need to unlock some HTC phones not supported by polarbox/xtc clip .

In conclusion: the only one that can decide what to do with lgtool is LGTOOL TEAM, just because 10 users out of 100.000 are asking for a change of policy it doesnt means it will happen.

@all other saying it should be free because you pay for setool: YES you paid for SETOOL ACTIVATION, to be able to unlock XPERIA STANDALONE, as a FREE BONUS you get lgtool, but you already have it with the previous SETOOL ACTIVATION.

I ACTIVATED my setool every time, (1.01, 1.2, 1.280) and I used lgtool ONLY after it was given for free. Now I already had recover latest standalone xperia activation, still can use the bonuses (sgtool, lgtool) but without the benefit of REMOTE SERVICES OR SUPPORT ACCESS.

In my case, the real shame is HTC DB access and W100/W150 codes because I have enough tools to cover everything else. But it is not a reason for me to buy another activated smartcard.

I agree to pay for activation but they should fix HCT remote service bug, 70% wrong code.

Hello BR's.Don't wary time will one day pay.By the way we have already payed for LGtool by activation Setool 1.107 version.And I think the next time LGTool can use the user's that already have activation qualcomm-based phones.Who has a surplus of there are many places to spend the surplus money.
