With the most respect to teams around setool, if sgtool was closed to give more relevance to other suported brands, yes :Aishur: is correct.

Haven't seen "more samsung firmware files than other boxes support", no out of our world updates on Lg or other direct solutions.

I know things take long time to produce. But faster is to simply disconnect a user from its tool.

Don't see the lgtool as the "de facto" tool for lg. Yesterday had a bit of a problem dealing with a L5 e610, that should be suported for direct unlock, had to spend credit to get lg 2013 code. Yes, it have a good calculator, server based. But some direct functions makes me wish i had some better tool. Funny thing, i kind of prefered the work on sgtool, that its possibly available to certain users, but for the many was a "don't care if u use, you're off this".
Many codes for htc won't work.

None of this as anything related to setool, that is the best xperia tool arround!

That is ridiculous, im sure you agree as i feel 2 bits of sarcasm your answers!
Also was the excuse to terminate a project without warning!
much professional, we very lucky, such power!

But now that the burden of having a (non)working tool out of the way, somethings have to happen!

I have credits on servers, thus still supporting the project, so im not talking funny here. Dont have a store with 30/60 clients a day, but like to have reliable tools. The thought of having troubles with a tool "somehow" related to setool, makes me thinks how carefull i should be when buying tools from/related recognized teams! I think you can feel the prob here Laser. Even if you have to protect some sort of reason behind all this, the client side is very frustrating.

Saying all this out loud, i do respect all the efforts by the teams! All with no distinction. All work very hard for their customers.

Best regards.

yet you didn't heard me : sgtool is FREE addon and it is NOT supported addon.
lgtool is LG tool and it will only SUPPORT lg models.
lgtool team can and will do another addons, but , while they are NOT paid separately, they are NOT supported ...

got me ? if not - you bought lgtool - you will get support for lgtool.
sonytool, samsungtool, lalalatool - free and not supported tools, which COULD be stopped any moment.

LGtool/SGtool remote services activation required from 12.00 AM September 11 2012
Reading the above thread, look like it is an another thing to say the lgtool people are cheating us.

For lg tool here is an unbeatable tool for lg, it is the best and have regular (each Friday) updates.

Ya Laser, i got you!

But Laser, SGtool was not free since the LGtool v2.

Never saw that " free addon" about sgtool, but you have this way to draw us the picture like each of us have 5 years old.
Im no hacker like you, coding is not my thing. Anyway, i understand your point.
Don't want to make a scene here, but i keep my point of view that such action is not so professional and makes, at least me, worried. I don't want SGtool anymore. But as i relied on SGtool to do samsung service, it got US ALL (the ones who relied on it) by surprise. Had to refuse many handsets until i order another tool for it! My fault for not having one more reliable tool for Sam's? Maybe!

You have your point, and LGtool point, and that makes me think also:
So, LGToll is for LG handsets, so the other modules, besides the Blackberry that i paid activation, are also free so they can be disabled as soon as LGTool team understand it should be disabled? Warning tool user on that on same day, most probably in a post in your support forum. Is this correct? I need to know this so i know what i can count on!

Many LGTool services are server based. The warning in SGTool about blocked dongle could have been a proper warning to users about the eminent shutdown of Remote samsung by cable! That probably was not so hard to do, and properly respectful to their paying customers. Use this idea in case any other "free addons" are being disabled! Please!

And please, The_Laser, don't come with all this "you should know better" "you got me" "etc". I'm not calling anybodys stupid, and i'm respectfully making my point heard! If you can't refrain from those "your so stupid" posts, please, ignore my posts!

Best regards!
