which uart cable need to be used to unlock samsung s3850 - GSM-Forum

I am trying to unlock Samsung s3850 using usb cable with sgtool... after detecting com ports when i click on direct unlock button...it detects the phone and reboot...then it shows me the error..not detect bootmode...use DUAL UART CABLE TO UNLOCK...

I would like to know which UART CABLE I HAVE TO USE ...

if someone knows how to unlock using DUAL UART CABLE...please share ..thanks

Unlock over Dual cable with UART:
1. Connect the powered on phone with or dual cable.
2. In case the phone ask for a mode select PC-Studio mode.
3. Press Rescan and make sure the Samsung modem is detected.
4. Select the correct Comport. (In case of serial use COM1)
5. Now press and follow the instructions on screen.

WHAT IS DUAL CABLE WITH UART..THATS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW.

S7070 or c3300k cable can be use for this ?

- Unfreeze: 59427042 + OK (State: Not Frozen)
- Unlock Network: #7465625*638*39260720#

To repair Phone Freeze,insert other operator SimCard.Enter Code(it will not be visible) and accept with OK key
To unlock: REMOVE simcard from phone and type the full unlock codes.

-- Operation done in 22 seconds --

I DID UNLOCK....THANKS TO SGTOOL...
