New LOCOSTO ROM - List of phones which cant be unlocked - GSM-Forum

Hi,

To clear some confusions and at least save some time for users, here is current list of phone models which already have this new bug free Locosto CPU ROM.

SonyEricsson : All phones produced in week 46 , Year 2008 and newer
Motorola :
.
- EM325
- EM25
- ZN200
- W181 from Brasil

There might be more models, and here is procedure hot to determine if phone has new ROM or not :

Motorola phones :

After You make sure that Locosto drivers procedure has been performed correctly, and drivers installed, You can simply check if its possible to connect phone or not.

In case You get following log output:

Code:

Power ON phone shortly 
Searching device ... 
Phone found 
Sending signature 
Sending boot 
Sending signature 
Boot sent 
Boot Loading Error

This phone has new ROM and at the moment is NOT SUPPORTED. You dont need to try other tools, since all use our boot method and its viable only for first ROM version.

To unlock these phones we offer Motorola Codes to our users, more details about it we will announce next week.

SonyEricsson phones :

Simply remove battery and locate sticker under it. Search for production date code, it will lookd somewhat like this :

w4608,

Where w46 is week of production, and 08 is year. There is no need or any use of asking help on this mater, until we anounce something new on it. All phones produced since that date have new CPU ROM !

To unlock these phones we DO NOT have any offer, however You can use any other tool or box which have signature calculation server service. E.G. MT Box, SE Tool or Cruiser, or anything else.

We do work on solution, but for now we haven't made any progress. We will continue searching, drilling and digging, so PLEASE save some of our time and DO NOT ask each day "WHEN SIR".

I think some SE J132 08w45 are also Bug free CPU ROM because Booting such handsets Fails with all tools.
Tested on 5/6 handsets no way to unlock with tools using old boot method, and phones were unlocked via signature calculation server service.

but i unlocked and changed imxx in 2 sony ericsson r306 with w4908 , with ODM UNLOCK 1.20g all ok

Hi, just to report, there are some Moto W175 wich has same problem while trying to connect, some friend of mine also report SE T303 with same condition.
