W388 killed by Rocker ODM - GSM-Forum

Model: Motorola w388
status: phone is working but with few problems

problem with phone is cannot store captured image and error in messaging. so i flashed with Rocker ODM.

Result: dead Phone!

These are the flashfiles available in Support

AP00656.0141.K2.LP_W388_0141_A01.FLEX_W388_A4_008. ubf
HG01379.0141.K2.LP_W388_0141_A04.FLEX_W388_AN_00L. ubf

MOTOROLA_M83S_0_1_42_0142_LA1_Full.ubf

SW_W388_0.1.43.K2_LP_W388_0143_LA3_FLEX_W388_DA_00 3_1FF.ubf

These 4 flash types cannot solve the problem.

when i used the latest Rocker ODM this always the error

with old ODM

This one type of flash file will Power on the unit, Format a second, and will keep on restarting
MOTOROLA_M83S_0_1_42_0142_LA1_Full.ubf

This is the original Firmware of the phone

What support do i need to make the phone work again?

you really think it's a hardware problem? try to search the forum if it's a HW problem. i posted already phone is working before. everytime i make Master Clear the phone is OK for a while.

at last!!!! problem solved!

Rocker for the 1st time did the trick by writing the 1st eeprom back-up.

1. write fullflash
2. write eeprom back-up
3. hope support is faster

Now the phone is working.

You could do it in two steps :
1. Write full flash
2. Click "Unlock" to rebuild security
