How to Calculate addr: FullFlash for Optiflash - GSM-Forum

Littl solution for users who want to read/write fullflash.
##################################################

Example one. M620 - M310 ....
Nord_Addr0x20000000
Nord_Size0x02000000

Next all details in Hexademical.
Open WinCalc , set to develop mode and swith to HEX.

Formula.
Nord_Addr0x20000000 + Nord_Size0x02000000 and -1 = 20000000 + 02000000 - 1 = 21FFFFFF (HEX)
OptiFlash FullFlash region Result: 0x20000000 - 0x21ffffff

##################################################

Example two. J600 J600E J600v J610 E210 L320 ....

Nord_Addr0x20000000 start addr
Nord_Size0x04000000 flash size

start addr + flash size - 1 = 23FFFFFF

OptiFlash FullFlash region Result: 0x20000000 - 0x23ffffff

All done.

Mainly testbox2 initially focus on professional users, as it laid many functions for testing, rehabilitation and diagnostics. but can also be used newcomers.

As I said earlier, the basic concept testbox2 - a supplement, that did not add Samsung. For example recovery OTP sector, repair IMEI in new plaform 'KABURA & CERES, like L320 M310 M620 B520' without patch, test flash memory chip on Swift platform, swap 'mms'wap'sms'...', settings and many another settings who used on oficial service centrs ..

Of cource many options on testbox2 is simple , because any begginer know what is Unlock button or Flash..
But I try to teach you to work with this original Samsung software approached you already to a new level of understanding of the situation. to the level of employee service center.

So about ur ask about manuals , i put on the web some things. But this manual newer help users who always find easy way...

hi, u can get data from optiflash setting file or easy way, setting from spt box, but not forget about spt box have 10% errors in flash sise data.
better use platform.def from optiflash.

But in platform.def can't find start address or size. I want to know in samsung operating is 8 bit(like a china phone) or 16 bit(like a Nokia)

Download from support Optiflash , unpack rar, and run soft.
After select com port in settings and press read botton.
That all.

p.s. another settings wast as have. do not edit.

because you need edit some config on optiflash.
