Evo 4g flash help! cdma workshop

Hi, I recently purchased cdma workshop hoping to flash my wife's phone and mine htc evo 4g (sprint-not lte) over to our carrier-metro pcs. My wifes current phone is already that way but so broken its not work fixing so i bought some nice ones and figured instead of paying some one at boost mobile $75 to flash it over I would buy cdma worskop and do it my self with both our phones! The problem is I cant find a guide or anything thats easy enough for me...a newby to follow!!! There is a short guide on gsm forums but it is not very specific. I don't really know what i am doing so i need step by steps for the current version 3.9 of cdma worshop. You know step by steps a 3 year old could follow!!! I know that probably pretty sad for all you techies..but what can i say...really don't know what i am doing and i just want the phones to work and not turn them into cool digital paper weights ;-) If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it or point me in the right direction!!! Thanks ya'll!
