how to hard reset htc one m8x ??


how to hard reset htc one m8x ?
please don't say : volume - + power button, it doesn't work
it stuck on setup wizard lock screen....

i did it sir, and the post #1 is the way (vol - & power on), and it didn't work..
i think because of the setting inside menu...

It's m8x, and said there that the fast boot option in Settings > Power must not be selected.
U can check there in hard reset section.
I think that's my problem...

No, thats not your problem. you have to be a bit tricky.


Lets say you can not access phones menu from inside as OS not running, how can u go to setting?

Turn on phone then long press power button press restart and keep holding volume down.
select factory data reset.... cheers
