Download this htc fastboot exe here

Extract fastboot folder
Copy firmware.zip to fastboot folder
Cnnt yur device in fastboot mode
In fastboot folder Hold shif+right click select open command window here
Run followng cmmds

fastboot devices
fastboot oem rebootRUU
Fastboot flash zip 5.12.502.2.firmware.zip
fastboot reboot

after reboot again cnnt yur device in bootloader mode nd run the Lollipop RUU

Hi James,
Please ignore previous post reply, there was a misake in using the fastboot file
executed using another fastboot file

the execution & updating your firmware was successful
also after that i executed the latest oem RUU downloaded from HTC website for AT&T
the RUU got sucessfully installed/executed
now my phone is updated with new
os 5.0.2
software 7.23.502.1
without any problem

As i said before sprint carrier devices can't b unlocked officially. Only way to unlock is using hack method nd tricks but its not permanent if yu flash vit firmware yu vil lose unlock other than no way to unlock officially.

i have an htc m7 sprint for unlock, the os is 5.02. but when i use other
sim card it is not asking for network unlock code. hboot is 1.60 and s-on.

how to unlock it. i have riff if possible to downgrade hboot

You can not unlock yur device officially But yu can unlock by sme tricks nd hack methods google it for unlock solution. To Downgrd yur bootloader yu need to s-off yur device yu can s-off yur device using java card nd sunshine apk but its not free.
