find your CID, then flash correct ruu

You can NOT use RUU from One X+, on normal One X model.

Put the phone in bootloader, select fastboot mode, connect phone to pc
use adb as usual
enter command "fastboot oem readcid" or fastboot getvar cid

Will show your phone CID, HTC__*** ... this is important, for you to know which rom you can flash

put your phone to fastboot mode, connet it with your computer and in command line type "fastboot getvar all". Post here the result

power off phone completly.
Press volume down + power button

You will enter in bootloader, now select fastboot using volume buttons and select with power button.

Connect usb cable. Use adb and insert commands to reveal your phone CID.
CID is important for you to know which ROM you can flash.

In this mode connect it to pc, open CMD , browse to folder where you have adb .exe and fastboot.exe and in command line window type :

fastboot oem readcid

this commanod will return a result like this.

HTC__044
