Absolute Confusion Re: Unlock Treo 650 CDMA?? - GSM-Forum

After reading this forum for 2 hours, and then google sites for an hour I'm more confused than when I started.

I thought I had the Unlock procedure understood, until I read about CDMA and GSM.

I apparently have a CDMA Treo 650, which, I have now read, does not apply to lock/unlock, and the terms are generally used for GSM phones with Sim Cards.

My Phone does NOT have a sim card.

Does this mean its not really locked?

Can I use this phone with other carriers?

Or is there a different process I use switch carriers for this phone?

I know this information is probably in this forum somewhere, but I'm at a loss as to what to search for to find it. I've read about everything I can find, and just got small pieces of information from other people's questions.

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

All I really want to do is use this phone on another carrier.

Any idea's would be appreciated.

I just realized that the old carrier AND the new carrier both use CDMA, if that's an important point.

cdma need to get msl code and prl from the carier you mant to use it bro
