after installing all the above
Download the activation-bypass tool, which is available here, and save it in the location of your choice.(like C: drive)
Boot your device into recovery mode. Phones Off, Hold volume Up and connect to Usb.it should be like this

Run the activation-bypass tool from the command line by issuing the following command: java -jar devicetool.jar

next coming up hp veer activation

its abit long process

Hopefully this tutorial will help out new users like myself who are probably confused on what to do(Well I wasn’t . Just saying). I didn’t find any guide like this

1) Turn on phone (duh ) At this point you need a sim card in the phone. If you already turned on the phone, you can still put it in after it boots.

2) Once Firstboot runs press on the bottom right corner of the screen(it will display a phone symbol) and select emergency call

3) delete the 911 number and type in #*DEVMODE#
use the dialer. #*DEVMODE# = #*3386633#

4) The Dev mode option should appear, enable it and reboot the phone

5)download preware installer and install preware in phone
Index of /

6) On the phone connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
7) you need to start Preware select Preware menu >Manage Feeds and make sure the WebOS Internal feed is turned on. Make sure the packages are then updated, click the search button and enter Impostah, select and install it.

7)run Impostah

8) Run activation and input your login credentials. Either login or create a new profile

9) Go back and select accounts. Higlight Dr.Skipped Firstboot and select delete. Afterwards go back again and select Palm profile, then Reset Palm Profile, it will now ask you to reboot.

10) Once reboot finishes Firstboot should run. Double check that Wi-Fi is still working and if it is then go on ahead and login with your profile.
