Can I create a Palm Profile with another SIM?

I have just received an unlocked Palm Pre 2 from my company but I am unable to use it as my SIM card is not enabled for data connections.

Can I use another SIM that is enabled for data connections to create the profile, and then continue to use my own SIM in the phone? Obviously without any data services but at least with voice calls and SMS enabled.

Post relates to: Pre 2 p102ueu (Unlocked EU)..............

yes you can do that i try with my palm pre and i create profile with other sim and i use it with other sim
