Thumbs up * * * The first Treo 600 Unlock Step By Step by SPguru * * *

Treo 600 Unlock Step By Step by SPguru
This version doesn't need SD card!!!
---------------------------------------
1.Check your phone version, write everything down just in case if something goes wrong. It's a menu in the phone for it.You should have like these:
IMEI:01021500xxxxxxxx
HS SN:HAGAD409xxxxx
SA number: 100131xxxx
Firmware: 02.04
Software: Treo600-1.07-AWS
Hardware: B

2.Do own backup of all your stuff

3.Turn the phone off, hold reset at the back and turn it on for getting full HW RESET

4.Get registered (free) by http://mytreo.net to get access for download area

5.Download the RIGHT flash for your phone from here. These are the latest ones (V03.05-06) you must use them against getting screwy phone, funny menu,etc...
here: http://mytreo.net/downloads/modules....titleA&show=20

6.Install phonesync software from either PALM website or CD.

7.Start install tool on PC the add the downloaded flash file to it.

8.Do syncronization by pushing the big button in the middle of the cable plug,
the flashfile will get downloaded into Treo 600 memory

9.Now You can find a new "blue box" on the Treo Desktop, start that, follow the instructions to flash your phone.Wait about 15 minutes, have a cofee or smoke

10.Do HW reset again just in case as step 3.

11.Download the patched flash parts for all the firmwares from the website in step 5 .This works only with those!!!
Here: URL http://www.cyberjet.com/mtn/T6GSMUP305.zip

12.Unzip them onto your harddrive then add each file in the install tool software what you used in step 7.Do syncronization again.

13.You should have again a new "blue box" with different name on the Treo desktop, start it then follow the instructions.

14.The phone will upgrade in case patch itself

15 You have fully unlocked Treo 600 with latest firmware without hassles

This is the only fully detailed instruction about Treo 600 unlocking on the internet. It took couple days along with hassles to get there...

I'm sure many users will find this posting useful but danilo_nop is right.
This is very old solution and is definitely not first step by step solution my friend.

PS: have you seen this link???

Angry

Ha ha ha
Never Mind Guys you can deify each other. But the fact is all your posts were useless.(Your link to) That topic is just correspondence nothing else. (Danilo nop first answer for the question: "I have the solution too") No comment this kind of help-answer.The patch which is downloadable on the first few pages is for old firmware. To patch that is absolutely mistake as the old patched firmware plays up.First of all you were talkin' about the solution which based on SD card,no info about the "memory solution" that was just mentioned but that's all even on mytero.net.Second: nobody said the solution is recent or new.Third:Have you posted STEP by STEP solution deeply detailed for beginners who cannot even imagine what's the PDA at all? NO Why do you pick me? Before you do that read carefully what I have listed. By the way don't be jelous! I'm not that as**ole who keeps the info inside of himself then just starts requestioning (getting post number along with "stars" ) rather than doing accurate support. Like it or not this is the ONLY useful STEP by STEP solution to unlock Treo 600 because if you follow the steps you don't need to spend hours on the net to find out how to do it exactly.Your posts and links just take people in the jungle...What I have done is just collected the informations from the NET then Put them together.I hadn't said I discovered the Treo 600 Unlock solution!!!

Yes you're probably right.New solutions are not for free but when I started to work on my first treo I just ran into a problems. When it finished realised the method is old and people know it just nobody wants to make it clear. It took more stress and spent hours what it should have been...Certainly I read the topics about it even on mytreo.net the issue was same,I just got pissed off because of people keep requestiong... therefore I have put the available informations and my experience together.
I did a mistake too, left one word out of the subject "first USEFUL or CLEAR step by step..." also should have been posted like that "special thanks to mytreo.net" Finally I do apologise for being rude about the previous reply felt you guys complained copyright however I still reckon it's not fair. I was gonna help, got picking. No worries I don't really bother about it now,it's not the first time when someone wants help then got pick instead of appreciate.
